About Lhubiriha Conservation & Tourism Organisation

Registered NGO: 22/KITH/2025 • Bwera, Kasese, Uganda

🌱 Our story

Lhubiriha Conservation and Tourism Organisation (LUCTO) was formed by community members devoted to common conservation activities. Operating in rural Bwera, Kasese, we reconcile Rwenzori mountains' potential resources with modern scientific ideas.

The government of Uganda has put in more effort to develop rural communities, and as an NGO operating in rural communities, LUCTO was established for eco-tourism, natural environmental conservation, and sustainable human development. We awaken people's potentials to exploit sustainably the natural resources around them while reconciling the Rwenzori mountains potential resources and the community.
